After being part of several companies’ Production, Logistics, Supply Chain and Customs branches such as the SALM (Schmidt Kitchen), Steelcase and Castorama, Jean-Christophe CUVELIER then joined the Crystal Group as Transport and Customs Commissioner where he assumed DG positions in several ALIS-International branches in Consulting and Technology.
In 2018, he created MyTower, a software company specialised in Global Trade Management and Transport Management.
Stéphane BOISSAVY
DGDDI
Stéphane BOISSAVY became Head of the redesign import/export program of the Directorate General of Customs and Indirect Taxes (DGDDI) in January 2022.
Before that, he was Assistant Director of the Clearance Policies Bureau (2016-2021) where he was in charge of overlooking European clearance policies and managing the online services of DELTA clearance for the French branch.
Lately, he focused on the establishment of VAT e-commerce and DELTA H7, a new online clearance system for e-commerce trade. He was also part of the BREXIT preparation, and he kept a constant dialogue open with international trade operators.
Before joining the DGDDI, Stéphane BOISSAVY worked in several fields of Customs network. He started his career at the National Directorate of the Intelligence and Customs Investigations (DNRED) between 1997 and 2009 in the International Operational Cooperation between Customs authorities service, and then in the Analysis of patterns of Fraud service. He then became Division Director at Rouen from 2009 until 2013. He helped establish the Heavy Goods Vehicle Levy (ecotax) in 2013 and shifted this service’s goal to new fiscal missions until 2016.
In 2007, he was a Laureate of the Professional Inspector General exam which makes him in charge of management responsibilities since then.
He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Aix-en-Provence in 1991. He also graduated with a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Strasbourg in 1994.
Hubert PAQUENTIN
SOLVAY
Hubert PAQUENTIN is a Customs and Trade expert, specialised in fiscal issues in the Customs world. With a DESS in corporate law and a 3rd cycle export and logistics (EM Normandie), he worked as Operational Customs manager of the Renault Group between 1999 and 2001. For five years, he was the Head of Legal at Hewlett Packard as an international law Analyst EMEA. His responsibilities revolved around a constant analysis of Customs process to bring advice and management to companies, especially for supply chain management. As Secretary-General of Customs in the DAHER Intl/Aerospace Group, he not only worked as Vice-President of the Customs TLF commission, representative with the DGDDI but he was also part of representing Customs activities in aeronautics and other Customs representative functions. Since 2012, he is Head of Fiscal, Corporate Manager in the Customs and Indirect Taxation at Solvay where he supervises Customs process, export and VAT control as well as strategizes optimisation of rights, and external and internal audits. Not only is he part of EU Commission Task Forces, President of the Customs commission of AUTF but also representative with the DGDDI.
Maéva PAQUERIAUD
MICHELIN
As an Engineering Graduate, she started her Customs career at Renault after 4 years of internal audits. She started off as Customs Manager France and as years went by, she broadened her proficiency and responsibility within the company. She joined Michelin in early 2020 as Head of Customs and Export Control for the whole Group.
Frédéric SERRA
CLASQUIN
Holding a specialized postgraduate diploma in Logistics Management from the Centre de Recherche sur le Transport et la Logistique in 2001, Frederic worked for the Bolloré Group for 17 years.
He was appointed CIO of the Bolloré Logistics Division in 2015. He joined CLASQUIN in October 2019 as Group Chief Infor-mation Officer.
